About Kjell:
Kjell Folkvord is a Lyrical Abstract Expressionist who uses colour as the language of his emotions. With a background as a teacher and headmaster in Norway, Kjell’s transition to full-time artist 15 years ago has allowed him to develop a distinctive abstract style that connects deeply with viewers. His works, often inspired by music, literature, and personal experiences, invite audiences to engage with the emotional depth of his creations.
His unique process involves working with acrylics in a fluid, organic manner, using syringes and palette knives to craft expressive pieces that evoke personal reflection.
